A three-year study to determine the herd's seasonal movements and identify migration corridors, wintering areas, and calving grounds was initiated in Apr. 1982 as a cooperative effort between the Bureau of Land Management and the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game. Includes recommendations on managing the herd and minimizing the impact of land development operations on their habitat.
